Brought in early in design, Durapods worked with the project team to turn ICU, labor and delivery, and person-of-size requirements into a coordinated program of 203 bathroom pods.

The Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center Modernization & Expansion adds a new 11-story patient tower serving northeastern Pennsylvania. Durapods is providing 203 prefabricated bathroom pods for the tower in ICU, labor and delivery, and person-of-size (POS/bariatric) configurations.

Working through design-assist and Target Value Design, Durapods provided BIM modeling, constructability reviews, value engineering, and logistics planning. That early involvement shaped the pod program alongside the rest of the design.
